FIELDS, Rosie L. age 73 of Hamilton passed away Friday April 6, 2012 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born February 26, 1939 in London, Kentucky the daughter of the late Benjamin and Cora (Bowling) Johnson. Mrs. Fields worked in housekeeping at Fort Hamilton Hospital for many years. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and collecting dolls. She is survived by her daughter Veronica Harris; five sisters, Ruby Brown, Lucille Proffitt, Irene (Charles) Linkous, Margie (Bill) Gabbard, and Louise Wagner; three brothers, James, Leonard, and Junior Johnson. Mrs. Fields was also preceded in death by a sister Oma Lee Johnson and two brothers Billy and Eugene Johnson. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Tuesday April 10, 2012 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Paul Tillett, officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
