

Timothy Louis McGuire, age 62, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the evening of December 3, 2012 at his residence in Trenton, Ohio. He was the second son born to the late Albert and Ruth (Allen) McGuire on June 10, 1950. After high school he joined the United States Navy where he served from 1968 to 1971 spending most of his time in Washington D.C. at Andrews Airforce Base. After proudly serving our country, he attended Miami University where he earned a degree in Art Education. He then pursued a career in tattoo artistry for the next 37 years first owning the only parlor in Cincinnati and then two other parlors in Hamilton, Burnside, Kentucky and, lastly in Oxford, Ohio. He was a true craftsman and expert in his art. He was a great lover of music and a life-long trumpet and piano player. Timothy was a member of the Moose Lodge #501, the American Legion, the National Tattoo Association, and a life-long member of the Westwood Presbyterian Church. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew him and a dedicated son, father, grandfather and brother. He leaves behind his fiancé' Jill Tewart, who he had planned to marry the week before Christmas, and her son Tyler along with his sons Timothy A. (Kristen), George M. (Melissa), Oliver (Wendy), grandson Mac Jack and brothers Michael J. (Holli), Todd A. (Brenda) and Ted A. (Jamie). Timothy was preceeded in death by his grandparents William and Sally Ann McGuire, parents Albert and Ruth McGuire, grandson Jack Iko, granddaughter Olivia and many beloved Aunts and Uncles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at the Webb-Noonan-Kidd Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8th from noon to 2:00 pm with service immediately following. Tim wished to be cremated and his ashes sprinkled in several special locations. Officiating of the service will be conducted by long-time family friend, the Reverend Rodney Roe.
