Vida I. Davis Harris

Vida Ilene Harris, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1924 in Clinton County, KY, the daughter of the late William W. and Stella C. (Conner) Davis. Vida was a 1943 graduate of Berea High School. On December 18, 1943 in Newport, KY, she married her husband of over 65 years, Robert Harris, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2009. Vida is survived by her daughter, Jean (Lee) Michalsky; step-daughter, Carolyn Sue Eynon; siblings, Gene (Ruth) Conner, Douglas (Carolyn) Conner and Janice (Charles) Kemp; sister-in-law, Martha Conner; brother-in-law, Alton Copeland; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Herbert Davis, Jimmie Conner, Bonnie (Hubert) Wilson, Mildred (Elmer) Gross, Ida (Minor) Workman and Virginia Copeland. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
