

Worley W. “Bill’’ Minor, Sr., age 70, of Williamsdale, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2012. He was born in New Miami on October 27, 1941 the son of the late Worley, Jr. and Corinne (Kilgore) Minor. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1963 and the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1967. Bill was a self-employed mechanic and a truck driver for various local companies. He also enjoyed restoring old cars. Bill was a member of High Point Lodge #773 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, DAV #131, AMVETS Post 1983, and VFW Post 7670 where he was active with their Honor Guard. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela J. Isaacs of New Miami; two grandchildren, Amy Morgan of Hamilton and Joshua McWhorter of Hamilton; five great-grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Ashlynn, Brianna, and Evan; step-mother, Euleen Minor of Hamilton; brother-in-law, Eddie Vega of Williamsdale; niece, Corinne Bauereiss; and nephew, Chris Caudill. He was also preceded in death by his son, Billy Minor; sister, Judy Vega; granddaughter, Jennifer Morgan; and nephew, Johnny Bauereiss. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12 Noon by Masonic Lodge #773. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Bill’s family wishes to thank the staff of 5 Main at Ft. Hamilton Hospital for their excellent care and the members of the DAV and VFW for their friendship and concern.
