Adam Skobel

November 4, 1938 - August 3, 2012 On August 3rd, in his 73rd year, Adam Skobel passed away peacefully in hospital. He is survived by his devoted and beloved wife of 41 years, Urszula Skobel, and his beloved only daughter, Eve Skobel. Many thanks to Fr. Ted of Blessed Sacrament and the priests of St. Stanislaus Kostka, who brought Adam much comfort administering the Anointing of the Sick. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Visitation will be held for Adam at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
