Alexandra Toskas

Beloved wife of Panagiotis for 60 years. Loving mother of Sophia, Anna (Christian), Chris (Kellie), and Demetrios (Ruth).  Loving Yiayia to Elizabeth, Eleni, Olymbia, Alexander, Julien, Niko, Alexandra Athena, Zoie Athanasia and her 5 great-grandchildren.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Anna (late Andreas), Vasilis, Kiki, and Irini and many godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great friends.  She was predeceased by parents Giorgios and Maria, and sadly her brother Nikos. Also predeceased by her in laws Christos and Sophia Toskas, Steve and Dimitra Kocsis. She will be greatly missed by all her family in Canada and Greece.

Alexandra was born in Athens, Greece; she and Panagiotis moved to Canada to begin a new life and build family roots here.

She loved music, dancing, cooking, laughing and had a zest for life.  She simply loved. She had a great sense of humour, and yet, a no-nonsense, common-sense attitude that she passed on to her children and their families.  She cherished all of her time with her family, and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Prayers will be said at 8:00 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at Panagia - Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 233 E 15th Street, Hamilton on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10:00 am Burial at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Road East, Hamilton.
