Amanda Louise Kelly

Tragically, as the result of an automobile accident in North Carolina on Monday, March 21, 2011, at the age of 24, we lost our beloved daughter and sister, Mandy. Cherished daughter of Sandra Jacobs and Michael Kelly as well as her step-parents Stan and Asia. Mandy leaves behind her brother and best friend Shaun Kelly (Lyssa) as well as her stepsister Michelle Simmons (Greg) and nephew Nicholas. Lovingly remembered by her Baba Pearl Erdeni and predeceased by her Dzedo and by her Grandma and Grandpa Kelly who are looking down from Heaven above. Mandy will forever live on in the hearts of her boyfriend Mike Gee and his family as well as all her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Canada and North Carolina. Mandy was a hard working, beautiful individual who touched the hearts of so many people. She graduated from Bishop Ryan High School with honours and went on to McMaster University where she graduated with an honours degree in Psychology. In six weeks time, Mandy would have graduated from East Carolina University with a Master's degree in Accounting. Mandy had a great passion for life and loved to dance, laugh and spend time with her family, friends and her dog Topaz who lost her life in the accident as well. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth Ave.) Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service Sunday at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church (Barton Street East at Nash Road) on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 9 a.m. followed by cremation.
