Dear Joanne, Barry, Karen, Craig, and MacDonald relatives:
I just wanted to let all of you know that I am thinking of you as you both morn the loss of Angus and celebrate his life...it's always so hard to loose our family members...and we know that that pain never goes away.  I will hold pleasant thoughts in my heart of my Uncle Angus...of his mild manner, his interest in family (immediate and extended), his Cape Breton style and humor, his warm greetings and handshakes.  His many years with you will give you so much to remember and hold dear.

I was very sorry to hear of Angus' passing. In normal times I would try to come to Hamilton for the funeral but unfortunately my father-in-law passed away on the same day (Friday past) so we are dealing with funeral plans here as well.  Our deepest sympathies to you and the family.

I am deeply saddened over your loss, and pray that God will watch over Angus and all of the loved ones which he has left behind.

I was so sorry to learn of Angus' death.  Fidelle gave me the news, and had told me previously of his illness.  I am formerly from Creignish and Angus and his late sister, Charlotte, were my godparents.  My maiden name was MacDonald, as well, and I married a MacDonald.  I feel sadness because it is a connection to the past that is now gone.  The last time I saw Angus was at his mother's funeral about 25 yrs ago.  He would visit our family home years ago, and he was always such a nice quiet gentleman.  Our sympathy to all your family, and our thoughts are with you at this time.
