Anka "Ana" Adzija

Beloved wife of the late Marko (2006). Loving and devoted mother of daughter Kathy and her husband Emil Mlinarevic, son Robert (Bob) Adzija and his wife Penelope. Cherished "Baba" to her grandchildren Matthew and Marcus Mlinarevic, Jared and Hailey Adzija. Predeceased by her parents Blaz and Marija Jurkovic, sister Matilda Bukovac (late husband John) and baby brother Mile. Sister of Manda Oreskovic and her husband Pavao, brother Stjepan Jurkovic (late wife Lucija). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, godchildren and other family members.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Lincoln Park Retirement Home and AgeCare Brant Nursing home who provided Ana with companionship and wonderful care.

Family and friends may visit at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church, 1883 King St E, Hamilton on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington.
