Ann's love and kindness knew no bounds, having raised her own family and an additional 70+ newborns and toddlers for the Catholic Children's Aid Society. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Michael, with whom she enjoyed many of their retirement years in Oliphant, Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron, before returning to Hamilton. She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn (Dave) Lane, Lori (Bill) Watt and Lisa (James) Granberg, grandchildren, Stephen, Tracy, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Kyle and Travis, and their families including eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother James (Ruth) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Ridgeview for their kindness, compassion and the wonderful care that Ann received. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ann's life will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Thursday, May 19th at 11am. The family encourages guests to wear bright colours in honour of Ann. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
