

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James “Jim” Urquhart (1983). Ann Marie was a loving mother to Matt Urquhart (Sharon), Kimberli Docherty (Neil), and Sheri Denton (Jason). She was a devoted and cherished grandmother to Kiana Docherty (Corey), Taylor Urquhart, Taima-Lyn Emin (Gregory), and Bryce Docherty. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Shirlu Scott, Patsy Titus, and Brenda Gano, and was predeceased by her brother Newton Robson. Ann Marie will also be fondly missed by her nephew Robert Robson (Michelle), along with her extended family and many friends.
Ann Marie will be lovingly remembered for her zest for life, her passion for volunteering, and her enjoyment of lively political discussions. Following the passing of her husband, she dedicated many years to volunteering at the Joseph Brant Museum. She began as a volunteer, later becoming the Volunteer Coordinator, and eventually the Administrator—a role she truly loved and took great pride in.
Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue E., on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
