Predeceased by her husband Andrey. Cherished mother of Peter (Natalie) and Walter (Karyl). Loving Baba of Yarema (Valentyna), Olena (Orest), Jacob, Mathew and Austin. Special PraBaba of Victoria Anna. Predeceased by her brother Dmytro and sisters Elizabeth, Anastazia and Maria. She will be missed by her sister Jennie. Fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends.
Anna was a devout and active parish member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Hamilton and former member of the Ukrainian Women's Association of Canada, Hamilton branch. She had an abiding love of Ukrainian culture and took pride in projects recreating historical garb from the period of Kyivan Rus', as well as of the Cossack period. Her embroideries are deeply treasured keepsakes of her children and grandchildren - remaining as powerful reminders of her love and the roots that bind us to our history.
Thank you to the Good Shepherd, St. Joseph's Healthcare and Emmanuel House Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
