Peacefully at Macassa Lodge Long Term Care on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in his 89th year. Gone to be reunited with his beloved wife Frances (2007). Cherished father and best friend of Mary (Mark) Simchison. Loving grandfather of Jessica. Jessica was Grandpa's apple of his eye. Tony will be remembered by his sister-in-law Maria Bonfiglio (the Late Rico), his nephews Mark and Greg and many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of our Blessed Lord Church (Barton and Nash) on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
