It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Antonio, who peacefully passed away on March 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sergilla Piccolo; his children, Marisa Chmiel (husband John Chmiel) and Antonio Piccolo; his cherished grandchildren, Johnny (Andrea), Dustin (Victoria), Christopher, and Alexander Chmiel; and his great-granddaughter, Izabella Chmiel. He is now reunited with his beloved son, the late Paolo Piccolo.
Antonio was born in Padova, Loreggia, Italy, and immigrated to Canada in his early 20s. He became a drywaller and plasterer. He was known for his amazing work with plastering ceilings and creating various designs both in homes and businesses. He had a deep passion for making wine, salami, and tending to his garden. His love for family, tradition, and his Italian heritage will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends in both Canada and Italy.
A very special thank you to all the staff at AgeCare Willowgrove-Old Mill Neighbourhood for the great care of our husband/father.
