Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Versace) for almost 62 years. Loving father of Maria Zarevich (Alex), Pasquale (Marisa) and Antonietta Tisdale (Tim). Cherished Nonno of Emily, Daniel, Connor and Lana. Predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Maria, his in-laws Francesco and Antonia Versace, his siblings Francesco (Maria), Michele (Carmela), Assunta (Antonino) and Rocco (Caterina). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Giovanni (Maria), Antonino (Claudette) of Hamilton, Rosa (the late Domenico) of Italy, Giuseppina Princi (the late Antonino), the late Antonino Versace (Angela), Giovanna Torquato (Antonio), the late Natale Versace (Melina) and Giovanni Versace (Domenica) of Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed by his aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews in Hamilton, Winnipeg, Italy, USA and Australia. Special thanks to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Sunday June 23 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Antonio’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Healthcare or a charity of your choice.
