Loving husband to the late Irene Lalley for 64 years and cherished father to Sandra (Bryan). Predeceased by his daughter Kathleen McNeice and son-in-law David. Grandfather to Kelly. Arthur will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Josephine and his siblings Lily, Tommy, Madeline, Mick and Matt.
Arthur worked at Stelco Hilton Works for many years. In his youth he served with the British Royal Navy during World War II and developed a love of world travel and exotic food.
As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to Idlewyld Manor in Arthur’s memory. Special thanks to Arthur’s Idlewyld family for their compassionate and loving care.
A gathering to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East in Hamilton on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the graveside burial at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Road East, Hamilton at 1:30 p.m.
