Audrey Millward

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Audrey (Rich) Millward, on December 28, 2011, at the age of 84 at Extendicare LTC Hamilton. Audrey was born in Dundas, Ont., on May 29, 1927. Predeceased by her 1st husband, John A Rich, October 16, 1967, her 2nd husband Robert W. Millward, March 29, 1979 and sister Katherine A. Kaus, September 4, 1986. Survived by her six children Donna Muldoon Ames (Don) of Grimsby, Sandra van Grieken (Harry) of Lowbanks, Jack Rich (Margaret), Douglas Rich (Jeff) of Hamilton, Audrey Millward (Bob), Jim Rich (Lorraine) of Campbell River BC and sister Jo Tobio of Hamilton. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity and zest for life by her 15 grandchildren, her 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Audrey had a passion for dancing and enjoyed life. She was a life member of The Hamilton Naval Veterans’ Association, Hamilton Ontario, Canada and an associate member of The Ladies Auxiliary for the Hamilton Navy Veterans Club, volunteering at many of their functions.

Special thanks to the caring staff of Extendicare LTC Hamilton for keeping Audrey comfortable in her last remaining days.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial will be held by her family at a future date.
