It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Dad and Papa on May 29, 2016. Austin Thomas Campbell, in his 89th year, was predeceased by the love of his life, his beloved Rose. He was a gentle, supportive and proud Dad to his daughter Terri and her husband Lynn, who loved him to the ends of the earth and were truly blessed to be so loved by him. He was an adoring, obsessive and very proud Papa to his three amazing grandsons Brett, Blayne and Brennen Caron. Family was so important to Austin and he reveled in being a loving member of the Westbury, Nolan and Campbell clans. Those who knew him will remember a kind and generous man who made an indelible impression on everyone who passed through his life. We will always remember his fair and compassionate nature and chuckle about his daredevil childhood adventures and that he never once left any food on his plate. Austin worked tirelessly for decades to build himself the family he didn't have growing up and was proud of his very successful 46 year career at Dominion Glass (later Domglas). He is now reunited with his darling Bun and his family will love and remember him always. Love Will Never End. Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 3:30pm and family tributes to follow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish (Barton and Nash) on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 9am. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
