Avril left us as she lived: quietly, and with grace. Predeceased by her husband Edward John and son William. Survived by her son John and daughters Linda (Kindree), Patricia and Ann (Lytwyn) as well as her grandchildren Ken, Kelly, Trevor, Wesley, Lisa, Brent, Eric, Jacob and her great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Bill Buchanan (Shirley). A longtime member of Chalmers Presbyterian Church, Avril enjoyed many years stitching beautiful quilts with the ladies. Her gentle heart and kind spirit will be greatly missed. Thank you, dear Mom, for your love and for teaching us that so much in life could be fixed with a good cup of tea and a ridiculous sense of humour.
