Bare Obrovac

Loving wife of Stanislav for 74 years. Cherished mama of Tomo (Jelena), Tina (Tony), Joso (predeceased), Pave (Zora), Anka (Ivica), Ive, Zvonko and Stanislav (predeceased). Devoted Baka to Tomo, Kathy, Michael, John, Robert, Kristina, Miroslav, Goran, Christopher, Tomo, Anka, Candice, Luka and Talan and Pra-Baka of 12 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her daughter-in-law Zeljka Boros (Ilija). She is predeceased by her two brothers. She will also be missed by her extended family in Ohio, Croatia and all over Canada. Bare came to Canada 42 years ago with her husband and children to reunite with the rest of their family. From there, the family continued to grow and she loved helping raise her grandkids who were her pride and joy. Special thank you to the 3rd floor staff at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday September 19 from 4-8pm with Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
