Bernice Zawislak

Passed away peacefully during her 81st year, enjoying an afternoon nap on December 21, 2014 at Ajax-Pickering Rough Valley Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Edward Zawislak. Beloved mom of Joe and wife Debbie, Teresa Wong and the late Samson Wong, Fred and wife Denise, Danny and wife Cindy, Steve, Ralph and wife Irene, Ed and wife Nina and Janice and husband Terry. Loving Nana (Grandma) of Ben and Neesha, Sam junior and wife Laura and Chrissy, Sarah, Crystal and Eric and wife Christine, Corey and Tiffany, Michael and Danielle, Maverick and Sawyer, Joshua, and Jillian. Loving Great Nana (Grandma) of Finley, London and Alliya. Loving daughter of the late Signa Frost and the late Alfred Frost. Loving sister to the late Sonjia Cooper and the late Bill Cooper, the late Ralph Frost, the late June Fraser and husband Rick, Judy McAuley and the late Nick McAuley, Beatrice and John Blake, Stan Frost and wife Rose, and many nieces and nephews. Mom would also like to thank Dr. Roslyn Shafir and Joanne and all the NURSES, Doctors and staff at Ajax-Pickering Rough Valley Hospital, Centennial Hospital and St. Michael’s Hospital for the great care she received when she was there. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Sunday, December 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 East 37th St., on Monday, December 29th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Following the interment the family would like to welcome you back to the church hall for coffee and cake. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Food Bank would be appreciated.
