Gerrard, Bessie V. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Hamilton General Hospital, in her 83rd year. Bessie is survived by her beloved children Margaret Ann, Sharon (John) and Danny (Jean), dear Grandmother to Derek (Agnes), Jonathan (Donna) and Jennifer, precious Great-grandmother to 4 Grandchildren, also survived by, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and their families and her much loved 4 legged companions. Bessie was predeceased by her husband Walter (2006) and 3 brothers, as well as a brother in law and sister-in-law. Bessie thoroughly enjoyed the years that she spent bowling and in later years her Bingo outings. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30,, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p,m. in the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. East). A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cresmount Chapel. In accordance with Bessie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date. If friends desire, donations in Bessie's memory may be made to the Hamilton- Burlington S. P. C. A.
