Beloved husband and best friend of the late Carmela Pizzuti. Cherished, devoted and loving father, who will be forever in the hearts of Michael and Rosa. He was the son of the late Rocco and Rosina Pizzuti.
Predeceased by his sister-in-law Maria Petta (the late Giovanni) and is survived by his brother-in-law Costantino DiNucci (Maria). Loving uncle of Filomena (the late Otello), Mike, Rita (Marcus), Romeo (Lynette), Pietro (Natacha) and Massimo (Eva). He will be greatly missed by many cousins, relatives and friends in Canada, Italy, Switzerland, and Argentina.
Biagio will be missed by his loving friends with whom he shared experiences of raising children, enjoying family gatherings and the adventures of growing up in the village of Carpinone, Italy.
He immigrated to Canada where he worked hard to build a loving home for his family. He proudly maintained his Italian culture and traditions, passing down the art of curing meats, making tomato sauce, and crafting homemade wine—customs that brought joy and connection to those around him. He will be remembered for his kindness, courage, and unwavering strength in the face of life’s many challenges.
He took great pride in his career in the construction industry, where he formed lifelong friends and contributed his skills for decades. As a proud member of LiUNA Local 837 for over 50 years, his dedication and craftsmanship left a lasting mark. His favourite moments were spent enjoying nature, going for long walks, and tending to his vegetable garden. He leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and cultural heritage that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The family expresses their appreciation to all relatives and friends for their love and support and to all medical professionals who contributed to his care throughout Biagio's life journey.
