Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home after a lengthy illness on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the age of 92. Cherished husband of Zina of 30 years and loving father of John, Jeff (Diana), Cathy (Rod), Taisa (Bradley), Diana (Don) and predeceased by his son Dennis. Cherished "Dido" of 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Luba in Ukraine. Also remembered by his sister in-law Lida and brother in-law Walter (Dana). Bob was a long time, dedicated member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Vladimir's where he served as choir director and cantor. He was also a member of TYC and St. Andrew's Order. Special thanks to P.S.W.'s Paula, Aileene and Christine for all their wonderful care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth Ave. S.) on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Panachyda service Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 18th at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.
