Loving and cherished mother of Christopher (Stacey), Liana, Vanessa (Clay), and Nicholas (Geneva). Nonni of Ella, Stephen, Owen, Lauren, Rosa, and Jasper. Caring sister of Ann Marie, Chuck, the late Danny, the late Victoria, Bernadette, and Monica. Daughter to strong wonderful parents Helen Marie Rankin and Charles Guagliano. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her Aunt Betty and goddaughter Carreen, dearest friend Helen, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Anyone who knew Brenda knew she was blessed with the gift of "gab”- no matter what the language - as she was fluent in quite a few! Brenda enjoyed traveling particularly throughout Europe. Her love of shopping was first evident in the early 90's when she transformed her love of fashion and community into becoming the proud owner of the successful Milltowne Vanity Fair, where she met many wonderful people and life-long friends.
Aside from her love of ensuring people always ‘looked’ and more importantly ‘felt’ their best, she had a great love for animals that could never go unnoticed. Especially her beloved ‘True Blu,’ which she let her close friends and family be a part of in her many Facebook posts and messages.
A loving mother, Nonni, sister, wife and friend, Brenda will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Devoted in her religious faith, she never wavered and was always happy to share and support others in times of trouble or join in rejoicing with others in times of happiness.Throughout this we wish to heartfully thank: The Cancer Society and Ostomy Of Canada, CBI Home Health, St. Elizabeth, VON, Bayshore
Many thanks also to the Juravinski, The General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and her sister Bernadette – who rarely left her side when there were limited visitors available due to COVID-19.
It has been a difficult time for all, Brenda would want us to be just as strong as she has been. We honour her strength, and she would want us to know she is at peace.
