Unexpectedly, on Friday, January 10, 2014, Brian at the age of 35 passed away after a courageous struggle with Cystic Fibrosis. Cherished son of Tom and Brenda (nee Hacking) and beloved brother of Cheryl. Dear grandson of Sam and Gladys Hacking and John and Mary Pokszywka (all predeceased). Will be sadly missed by aunts and uncles Frank (Helen), George (Maureen), Sam and Tom, cousins Alison, Kathryn, Natalie, Geoff and Kevin. A great loss to his best friends Steve, Katherine, Tricia, Darryl, T.J., Katie, Anita and Jeremy. Also to his many friends at Frisco's and colleagues at NDI. Brian was an Electronics Engineering Technologist graduate of Mohawk College (2004). He was a respected and dedicated 13 year employee of Northern Digital Inc. (Waterloo) currently in the position of Specialist Technical Support Life Sciences. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Joseph's ER and ICU for their compassionate and exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. A Celebration of Brian's Life to be held at a later date.
