We find great comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with her cherished husband, the late Stanislaw “Stanley” Podolak.
Born in Luszczacz, Poland, Bernice was the beloved daughter of the late Rosalia and Jan Burak. She was a devoted wife to Stanley and a loving mother to Lili Mollon (Gary), Irene Boutilier, and J.B. “Jane” Podolak. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Brent (Kelly), Jennifer, Christina (Mike), Jonathan (Elizabeth), Selena, and Danielle (Stephen), and a beloved great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren.
Bernice’s remarkable strength and resilience were a source of inspiration to all who knew her. After immigrating to Canada from Poland, she dedicated her life to raising her three children with love and unwavering faith. A woman of deep spiritual devotion, she was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
Bernice had a sweet tooth and a sweet spirit to match. Her warmth, faith, and strength will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Idlewyld Manor for the compassionate care and support you provided to our mother and our family.
