Bryan faced his illness with remarkable strength, determination, and the same sharp wit that defined his life. Even in his most difficult moments, his quick humour and playful spirit never faded.
Bryan was the devoted and loving husband of Pam for 42 wonderful years. Together they built a life grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering support for their family. He was a proud and dedicated father to Jason (Kate), Carrie (Jerry), Krista (Kenny), Lindy (Steve), and Ashley (Gaynor). Nothing brought him greater joy than being “Papa” to Tyler, Mikayla (Andrew), Koda (Tanner), Jacob, Maddie (Connor), Lexi, Isis, Arlo, Odin, Eros, and Ebbe. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Bryan will be deeply missed by his siblings Sharon, Lloyd (Midge), Kim (Linda), Bruce (Cindy), Joe (Janice), Carolyn (Rita), Jo-Ann (Ted), and Deanna (Garry). He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Joseph and Stella Cheeseman, and his in-laws, Joe and Doris Begley.
A proud and dedicated member of IBEW Local 105 for 45 years, Bryan built a respected career in the electrical trade. He later opened his own business, P & C Instrumentation and Controls, where his work ethic, integrity, and expertise earned him the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Bryan found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, early mornings with his fishing crew, weekends at Sand Bay cottage, and time spent surrounded by lifelong friends and extended family. He had a wicked sense of humour, a generous heart, and a gift for making others laugh, even when he himself was suffering.
Though his journey here has come to an end, Bryan’s legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered always, missed deeply, and loved forever.
A special thank you to our Bayshore nurses, Clarissa and Racheal, who went above and beyond and provided compassion and support throughout this difficult time.
In keeping with Bryan’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home – Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East in Hamilton on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A date that carries special meaning. As a passionate rider, he cherished the tradition of riding to Port Dover on Friday the 13th, joining fellow motorcyclists in a celebration of freedom, friendship, and the open road. It feels only fitting that we come together on a day that meant so much to him.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
