Bryant Thomas Boyko

Bryant has now been reunited with the love of his life Lisa (2024). He is predeceased by his parents George and Mary and siblings Mary and Bruce. Loving brother of Brad. Cherished brother-in-law of Abbie and Uncle to Kayla, Grant and Aerie. He will be dearly missed by his lifelong friends Angela and Sylvan Thompson and his six godchildren Zachary (Becky), Jasmine (Henrique), Aria, Chenoa, Jesse (Brandon) and Celena and his great-nieces River, Lua and Aila. He will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, Brent, Shirley (Vito), Mike (Annie) and their children Sophia and Victoria, Matt, Christine (Jeremy) and their son Dominic, Paul (Bailey), Jim (Jackie), Ed and his son Robert.

He worked as a security guard supervisor for PCC 304-Crown West for 32 years where he will be sadly missed by both his coworkers and residents. Bryant loved spending his weekends at the family cottage on Lake Erie both as a child and as an adult. Bryant took his mom to Graceland on a bus tour in 1989 where he met Angela and became a part of her family. He loved going to the States with his brother and nephew for NASCAR races. He liked going to the car shows in Toronto every March with his brother and cousin Ed to see old cars. Bryant was very selfless; He was an amazing caregiver to both his parents and Lisa and would always put their needs before his own, as family was everything to him. While going through a rough time, his cousin Ed stepped up and gave him a place to call home. Bryant also enjoyed spending his time reading, listening to his audio books on his commute to work, and enjoyed watching Al Sweeney on CHCH News.

Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Tuesday, January 28 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 29 at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
