Devoted grandmother to Jeff (Danielle), Stephen, Tara (Giulio), Allie (Sheila), Graeme (Stephanie), Sadie and Cecelia and great-grandma to Madeline and Daniel.
Carmel is pre-deceased by her husband Francis, siblings William, Frank and Bonnie, and baby sister Mary. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Joseph (the late Mary), Jack (Susan), Mary, Theresa (Nigel), Joan (Dave) and Donna (Gary). Carmel will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Carmel was proudly employed as a PSW at St Joseph’s Villa in Dundas for 25 years and was loved by all residents and staff. She also loved volunteering at the Good Shepherd for many decades. Carmel will always be remembered for her kind and caring ways and her ability to make others feel special.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at St. Peters Residence at Chedoke Long Term Care for the excellent care and love that Carmel received there for almost 6 years. We are especially grateful to Dr. Shankkardass and Dr. Jean Mullens.
