BEST, Carol (nee Laslett) The family wishes to announce the passing of Carol on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the General Hospital, at the age of 61. Loving daughter of Margaret and the late Gordon Laslett. Beloved wife of Joel Best. Cherished mother of Christie Best. Dear sister of Suzanne (Barry) Rodgers and Jim (Heather) Laslett. Remembered by her nephews Blair (Heather) Rodgers and Kevin (Annemarie) Rodgers. Carol will be deeply missed by her close friends Tina and Troy Cheeseman and Yvonne Guzman. Missed by her extended Best family in Barbados. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at the Juravinski Hospital and the staff and doctors at the Hamilton General Hospital. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. East, on Wednesday, December 5th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 6th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. As per Carol's wishes, cremation will follow. If so desired, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
