Beloved wife of Marty for 59 years. Loving mother of Kelly (Bill) and Tracy (Rich) and loving Nana to grandchildren Dylan (Heather), Billy, Kelsey (Nate), and Jessi and great-grandchildren Benjamin, Lennie, and Madilyn. She will also be lovingly remembered by siblings Bonnie, Kenny, Margaret ‘Mags’ (Butch), Charlie, Johnny (Janice), and Gordie and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carol was predeceased by her parents and brothers Cam, Brian, and Tommy. Carol worked as a Medical Clerk at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 2002 at the age of 56.
She loved to sing, dance, crochet, and feed the grandkids friends before school. Carol was the family party planner and loved having company over. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren but there are many who fondly remember her grilled cheese sandwiches.
The family wish to thank the staff and volunteers of St. Peter’s Chedoke for their compassionate care, especially the staff on Fir Terrace, they have a special place in the family’s heart.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Carol’s Life will take place at St. Michael's Hungarian Church Hall on Saturday, May 30th from 1 - 5 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Chedoke would be appreciated by the family.
