Carrie Newton (nee Babcook) passed away peacefully on February 12, 2013 in her 82 year. She is survived by her husband Leonard, children Nancy (Ken) McKeon, Lynn (Rob) Jarvis, Karen (Mark) Daigle, Grandchildren Michael, Sara, Amber and Ashley and Great-grandson Benjamin and special nephew Brian. Also survived by siblings Grace and Dale . Predeceased by her son Paul (1969) and siblings Allen, Elton and Irene. Carrie graduated from Kingston General Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Visitation will be held on Friday February 15, 2013 from 6 – 9 PM in the chapel of Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. East) with the funeral service at 9:30 AM on Saturday February 16, 2013 in the chapel. Interment will follow in the family plot at Woodland Cemetery. If friends desire donations may be made in Carrie’s memory to the Alzhiemer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
