Charles Samuel Costanza

Beloved husband of the late Patricia for 64 years. Cherished father of Chris (Cathy) and Matt (Carol). Loving brother of the late Mary Johnston (Arnold) and the late Josephine Redmond (Russ). He will be sadly missed by his sister Carm Schoetzig (Werner) and his brother Mickey (Grace).

Charlie spent many happy years with Pat at Old Bridge Village in Florida, where he played golf, sang in the choir and participated in many clubhouse activities and functions with neighbours and friends. An avid golfer, Charlie was a long-time member of the Glendale Golf and Country Club. Charlie spent virtually his entire career as a banker with the Province of Ontario Savings Office, working his way from teller to branch manager to the Director for all 21 branches throughout Ontario before retiring in 1985.

He will be affectionately remembered and greatly missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A special thank you to the team and residents at the Meadowlands Retirement Residence for welcoming Charlie with open arms. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

A private family interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church, 620 Rymal Road East, Hamilton. The Memorial Mass will be followed by a Celebration of Life at noon in the Church Hall.
