Predeceased by his beloved wife Johanna and brother Lorne. Treasured memories and much love shared with brother Dale, children Gene, Kathy and Liesa (Ernie), grandchildren Stephanie, Joshua (Jamie), Amanda, Nicole, Lyric and Justus and great-granddaughters Zoey and Amelia.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. Private interment to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Paris, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society (Hamilton and Halton) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
