Cheryl Ann Vandyk

Surrounded by family and friends, our sweet Cheryl passed away August 14, 2015 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 57. Devoted and beloved wife of Jamie for 36 years. Remembered with love by her sisters Chris (Rick), Darlene (Brian), and her brothers Steve and Bobby. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law as well as her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Carol and Bob Thomas. She enjoyed her Thursdays with her sister, her herb garden, fishing, camping and her beautiful cats. She was a kind, giving person who loved to just hang out with her many friends who treated her like family. She was a tiny woman with a huge heart who will be missed by all who knew her. Friends will gather for a celebration of her life at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) on Friday, August 21 from 1pm to 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pantry Four Paws Pet Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. In keeping with her wishes, this will be a casual event… Please dress accordingly.
