Claude Joseph Cote

A selfless man lay sleeping, forever with the Lord. His soul now watches while gleaming, he is no longer tired and sore. A heart of gold stopped beating, hard working hands now rest. His memory will never be fleeting, his love I will remember best.

Born in 1944 on May 22nd, married on May 27, 1967 to the love of his life, his dear wife Helene. He will be missed immensely by his children Marc and Lynn (Roger), grandkids Alain (Deanne-Lynn) and Tiffany (Dave), and his great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Pauline (Gerald), Suzanne (Denis), Micheline (Jeau-Claude); predeceased by brothers Renauld, Raymond, Jean, and sister Carmen; brothers Conrad (Dianne), Richard (Martine), and many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Madelaine (Andre) and Sylvie (Robert), brothers-in-law Gilles (France), Michel (Lise), Guy (Manon) and Daniel (Dany), and many nieces and nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Monday, March 24th from 4pm-8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame Du Perpetuel Secours, 132 Blake Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at 11am. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
