November 16, 1925-September 5, 2017
Born Freeman, Ontario (Burlington)
Loving Mother to Ted Lindstead (Monica) and Grandmother to Jaime and Melissa. Predeceased by her brother Alan Plester and sister Dorothy Bostock. She had a long and eventful life with many careers. From Westinghouse during WWII to dressmaking at Moodies. For many years she taught Ballroom Dancing at Arthur Murray's both here in Hamilton and also in Pennsylvania. After that it was back to Hamilton eventually owning the Fiddler's Two Restaurant in Ancaster for 10 years. Then through friends from Blairsville Pa. She discovered a new passion, Mary Kay Cosmetics for whom she was a consultant for many years. Through them she discovered Look Good, Feel Better and was a volunteer for many years as well. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Thank you to the staff of Hamilton Health Sciences for their excellent care and compassion several times over this past year. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Cancer research or Cancer Assist or to the Hamilton Health Sciences. As per her wishes there will not be a funeral but instead a celebration of life.
