Danica Yurgan

She is reunited with her loving husband Ivan (2009) and her adored sister Dragica. Cherished mother of Ivan (Kelly) and Marian (Chris) and devoted Baka of Hayley, Jordyn, Grace, Hannah, Christian and Hayden. She will be dearly missed by her nephews Nick (Marianne) and John (Sue) and their families and also her many friends. She is predeceased by her siblings in Croatia. Danica had a vibrant personality and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her door was always open and everyone was welcome. Danica and Ivan loved to dance together especially at Croatian dances and picnics and now they are dancing together in Heaven. Special thank you to the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital for their care and support.

Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday August 3 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish on Friday August 4 at 11am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated.
