Hi Margo. So sad to hear about David.  We have thought of you often over the years and have many great memories of the time we spent together as neighbours and  friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Scott and Nora.                      Sandy, Tom and Amanda Bacolini

I just wanted to share one more memory with the Anderson family from yesteryear (late 70's or early 80's). Darien Lake mini putting was the setting. Upon playing the course, we were told that if we lost our ball in any way, we would have to pay $1 for a new ball to finish the round. Dave lost his ball, in the the water on an early hole, due to a course carpeting malfunction that propelled his ball off the course. He would not pay for another ball out of principle in his own mind.  After arguing with course personnel, security guards removed him from the course to a remote trailer for interragation. Margo, Jackie, & I were dying from laughter. It was just Dave's way & that's why we loved him. His passing still hurts.

I’m very sad to hear of Dave’s passing. My sincerest condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to Margo, Scott, Nora and the rest of his family and in-laws in particular Mike Kasoian.

When I was playing OBA Baseball in Stoney Creek Dave and Mike were our coaches one year.
We weren’t the easiest group to coach but  Mike and Dave were two of the best coaches I ever had because they genuinely cared and put the time in to work with us. You both should’ve got a medal just for doing that. Thanks again Mike.

And to you Dave, thank you, God Bless you and finally Rest In Peace.

My sincerest sympathy Margo, Scott, Nora and Ryder.
I fondly remember the fun times with dear friends; the cross border weekends for OTB and shopping, murder mystery nights and the dinner and game nights when somehow I always ended up as Dave's partner. A mismatched pair for sure  but It provided lots of laughs with his motto being 'win at all costs' and me thinking it was all 'just for fun.' Lol!
As best friends growing up with my Dave, I am hoping they are together again telling their ridiculous jokes, betting on the races and smiling down at the legacy they have left behind.

Like so many others, I extend my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Though I have known Dave all my life, my memories of him are much stronger in adulthood.  From what I could see, he was a genuine man, who wore his opinions and emotions openly (sometimes to a fault). He was a proud husband, father and grandfather and an enduring friend to my mom and dad—and eventually, father-in-law. I can’t remember a  momentous time or event that Dave didn’t share in. I will miss the beeps and waves, and most importantly—dropping in as he and my dad share a backyard beer following a hot day of golf.  The witty banter and competitive humour between friends are the memories I relish most. 

Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I knew Dave from our Chem lab days, bowling, golfing and the Maple Leafs. He was a joy to be around, a good worker, golfer and a ten pin bowler. 
His passing was a shock.

Richard and I were so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. We have so many great memories of Dave and Margo through our many years of bowling and the Rochester tournaments. We just finished watching your tribute video, what great pictures they are. So many wonderful memories. Our thoughts go out to Margo and family.

Many memories, from the 70's & '80s, making trips to horse race tracks in southern Ontario and one trip in particular to Montreal's Blue Bonnets with another friend. We stayed at the Queen Elizabeth hotel there and had a blast as mid 20 year olds. Also, my wife & I went on a trip to Myrtle Beach in the late 70s with he & Margo for us men to golf & women to shop. Poker, racing, & golf were our main connections way back when and along the way. I last saw him this past Sept 5th at a restaurant for horse betting & reminiscing old times. I will miss Dave dearly. RIP buddy.


Margo, Scott and Nora, my deepest condolences to all of you.  I have known Dave for my whole life....literally.  Some of my fondest memories are from growing up on Rand Street right across the street from you.  Dave was always the nicest and most generous man, and continued to be that way with me right up until the last time I saw him.  I will always remember him that way.  You will continue to be in my thoughts.  

Our profound sympathy to Margo and the family.   Our memories of many fun vacations ( Florida), golf trips, and fishing will last forever.  Good friends are hard to come by.  Dave was a “great” one!  

I am  very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with Dave in the Chem. Lab from the day he got hired. We shared many good times.  We, together ran a Stelco Metallurgical Golf Tournament for over 20 years. I'll miss you buddy!  I know Dave always told me about how proud he was to be a grandpa and I admired him for that.   May you rest in peace.       Margo.....my sincere condolances.

Remembering the great memories of those who have passed is the greatest gift they can give us. We will smile remembering the great times we had and the many laughs we shared. R.I.P. Dave

We want to extend our sincerest sympathy to you all on David's passing.  His Cape Breton cousins will remember him fondly and we will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
