Where do I even begin? I've just begun to really accept your gone little Brother. For My Dearest Friend David. 
This is your best friend Charles. David and I were best friends for many years. Mary, David's mother and his brother Donnie are like my own family, and i grieve with them. I will miss David for every day for the rest of my life.
I have not written anything in this space as of yet because I always became overly emotional. 
Davids passing hit me like a tidal wave, and I am still in shock. David was far too young to leave us, and especially at a time when some positive things were coming together for Davids life.
I will miss David, I will miss his good looks and warm smile. David had a great sense of humor and was always willing to see the good and joy in people, even if they didn't see it for themselves. Along with a great many other friends, Danny, Joe, Brian, Paul (Vera), Kim, Rob, Barlow, Chuckie, Rene, Karen, Scotty, Brenda and countless others we would play cards for hours, and laugh and laugh and laugh. We would travel when we could to visit Toronto (our favorite city) or Ottawa or Montreal or Buffalo, always in good spirits and looking for the next best place to have some fun. To us, these trips were adventures, and excuses to meet new people. I will miss this part of David the most I think. If there was ever any difficult or challenging situation to deal with, I would always want David with me......and he was usually right there.
David was often misunderstood in life by some, but he was never misunderstood by me. I understand you David, and I always have.  
All of us have a path to walk in life, and choices to make, and we don't always get it right. This was true of David as well. David was really a loving creature of this world. I know his Mother Mary ("Mumsie") will be heartbroken without you around, and I promise you David that I will do my best to be there for her in your place.
I love you David, always have, and as the tears roll down my face, I will stay strong for you and think of you often. I miss you.....I miss us.
May you be in a place of serenity and peace.

One of Davids favorite weekends was May 24, and this coming May 24 weekend, we will gather and celebrate the life of David Joseph Dunham.

We met when we were very young and we had a paper-route together. We hung out together in many of the same bars from 1985 till 1995 and would sit in Toby's at 2am eating fries and melted cheese. Our Paths Crossed many times over the last number of years. Rest in Peace my Friend. Your friend Guido.

I am clearly in shock! You were supposed to drop by last week my dear dear friend..I can't believe it..it's so very hard for me to fathom. So much that I don't want to believe it. I love you my sweet special friend! I didn't know our last hug and kiss and goodbye would be our last. I will never forget you and I will always remember the great times we had! Bless your sweet soul! My sincere condolences to to family. He talked always gave me updates on Joey..he was always proud of you and talked fondly about you. Big hugs Joey.
