Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of his loving and caring wife Doreen Mitchell (nee Turton). Dear father (dad) of John, Gord, Loretta and Tara and loving father-in-law to Angela, Patty, Rob, Chuck, and Marie. A proud Papa that was passionate about his Grand Children, Adam, Jessica, Brittany, Nicole, Mia, Nevaeh, Ashley, Austin, Bradley, Jonathan, and was able to see the birth and enjoy the first months of his Great Grand daughter Clarity. He will be sadly missed by many family members in the United Kingdom and here in Canada. For those who knew him will remember him for his spontaneous sense of humour and his uncanny ability to make you laugh. Special thanks to the many kind and caring Emergency Service Workers and Hamilton Health Sciences staff that he had the opportunity to meet. And a special thanks to a special friend, Joan Mendolia, who was always there when needed. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Sunday, April 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 3rd at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow.
