Diane Teresa MacDonald

Beloved wife of Mike for 36 years. Loving mother of Callie and Hannah. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Shirley Pettit (Dave), brother in-law Gerard MacDonald, niece Calyn Nelson (Robb), nephew Travis MacDonald (Emma), great-nephews Jack and Mason, and many other extended family and friends. Diane was predeceased by her parents Francis and Helen Cheverie, and brothers Donald and Garry.

She worked with the Hamilton Teachers Credit Union (Tandia) for more than 30 years.

Despite Diane’s limitations, she lived life to the fullest with kindness, empathy and a love of going out for breakfast.

The family wish to thank the nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital 8th Floor West SDU, and very special thanks to Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky for their compassionate care.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Tuesday, March 25th at 11 am with Visitation taking place 1 hour prior to the service from 10 am until the time of the service.

The family will also be having a celebration of life on Sunday, June 1st. Please email [email protected] for further time and location.

As expressions of sympathy, donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We will miss you, but you prepared us and we will celebrate the small victories.
