hi my gg:) the last time we've really talked was april in 2011. i've wanted a way to talk to you for these last 4 boring years, but never could. nothing will ever be the same from what i can remeber. every day i'm getting older and older, the memories fade, but my love for you lasts forever. i will never ever forget your voice and our time together. you were my bestest friend, second mother and my role model. i can still here you voice saying, or should i say shouting: "WE'RE GONNA BEAT IT!!", when me and hannah brought you that singing card, when hearing the unfortunate news. the day i lost you was the worst day of my life. but the best day has yet to come; when i'll see you again, in heaven. i hope you've been resting well, and swimming up there. just keeping swimming. my angel. everything i do today, is for you. i hope im making you proud... gg. i love you.

Gram, It's now been a year and almost one month. Where has the time gone? I think about you everyday and wish you were here. There are so many things I wish I could talk to you about. You mean the world to me and it is hard for me to accept that you are not here. I am taking a post graduate program right now, well on my way to 'saving the world' as you liked to call it.  I know you are watching over me and please rest assured, I will not be going to any really dangerous place any time soon. But, if I do, I know you'll be right there with me. Gram, it's almost been 4 months without you and there hasn't been a day gone by that I haven't thought of you. I've been pretending that you are still here and that we just haven't had a chance to talk in a while but as the days go on, it is getting harder and harder to keep lying to myself. I'm having a hard time handling this and I know you would tell me to be strong and that it will get better with time but I miss you so much it's hard to breath. I know you are not suffering anymore but I just want to see you and talk to you again and I would do anything to make that happen.
I love you gram so much and feel so lucky to have had a gram like you! The best gram EVER.

Sincere condolences to Dolores' family at this very sad time. Such a wonderful, friendly and compassionate lady who I shall miss chatting with.

In remembrance of you, Dolores, you always put family first.   When I  look back on the years and think of you I will smile, such wonderful memories.  My condolences to Lynn and Fred at the loss of your mother. God Bless.  She is at peace.

Dear Dolores aka. "Gram" aka. GG,

I know that we didn't have a lot of time to get to know each other, but I'm happy that I did get to spend the time I did with you.  My grandmothers passed away when I was still quite young and it was great to feel like I had one again, even if just for a little while. You embraced me into your family immediately and without hesitation - big toothy grin and a plate overflowing with that amazing Italian cooking set in front of me like my table setting had always been there. I remember your last words to me, and I will, I promise. 

Lots of love and I hope we'll meet again one day so you can finally share those naughty stories from your younger years.

Gram, my world was a far better place with you in it; my life has forever changed.  Knowing that I will never again be able to stop by your house for a visit to talk with you and hug you saddens me beyond words. Knowing that my children will never get to spend time with you, be loved by you, learn from you and grow up with you in their lives, making fond memories like the ones I have, (taking food I don't like off my plate without my parents knowing or surprising us with warm towels, hot chocolate and crackers with margarine after a night swim) ....breaks my heart.  You have been a part of all the big moments in my life and all the other moments in between.  I dreaded this day since I was a child, joking with you on finding a way to keep you around forever. Recalling all the memories and time we've shared, all the things you taught me about life, love and family, will have to be enough for now.  I know you are no longer suffering and are in a better place but I miss you so much and wish you were here. You were the head of our family and I am proud to be your grand-daughter and feel blessed to have had the time we had together. Whenever I make your sauce and meatballs, I will think of you and smile.  You'll have to wait a little while but one day, I will see you again and when we are finally together, we can crack open a Coors, throw some movies under a blanket and pick one to watch together like old times! You will live on in my heart and in the hearts of our family forever, love you grammie.......
