He will be deeply missed by his children: Catherine Park (Gordon), Brenda Blackwood, and Gary Budjak (Daria Dalsass). A proud and devoted grandfather, Donald was cherished by his grandchildren Tyler, Meredith, Benjamin, and Erin, and adored by his great-grandchildren Julia, Avery, Mackenzie, Jack, Owen, and Ezra. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Tom Bradley.
Donald dedicated many years of his career to Commercial Graphics and had a passion for photography. He was an enthusiastic traveler and enjoyed countless cruises over the years. Donald found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and relaxing at his cherished cottage in Jackson’s Point, especially while out on the water in his boat. A lifelong member of the Salvation Army, Donald was actively involved in both the Hamilton Temple and Meadowlands Corps communities. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family, including cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the Salvation Army Church, 187 Stone Church Road, Ancaster, on Sunday, August 10th at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m. A luncheon will be held afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign or Operation Smile Canada. Online condolences can be left at cresmountfennellchapel.com
