Loving husband of Lesley and beloved father of Timothy (Agnes). Predeceased by his brother Fred. Don was a veteran of WWII and a proud member of the Canadian Merchant Navy Association. He served Canada overseas from 1943 – 1945 and subsequently worked for the City of Hamilton Treasury Department before being appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 1958. Friends may call at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton from 3 - 5 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Hamilton Cemetery. Donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the caring staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
