Peacefully at Watford Quality Care Centre, Watford, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in her 92nd year. Loving wife of Jack (W.J.) Walker. Predeceased by her two sisters Isabel Sleeth and Margaret Kersey. She will be sorely missed by three nieces Judith (Richard O’Callaghan), Patricia Kersey (Chuck Erlichman), Kathryn Kersey, close friend Jackie Aube, also by step-daughters Susan Walker and Cynthia MacNeil (Harry, and Wesley and Dylan MacNeil). Doris was born in Sarnia. She moved to Hamilton in 1949 where she worked for many years as a receptionist at the McGregor Clinic. Friends will be received by family at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave), Hamilton, on Wednesday April 16th from 3-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
