Dorothy is predeceased by her parents Tim and Dorothy Worron, her brother Timothy, sister Deborah, brothers-in-law Bill and Joe and nephew Joe Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Des, her daughters Jennifer (Ben) Licop, Lisa (Jason) Spasaro and son Patrick (Leanne) Brennan. She also leaves behind her adored and loving grandchildren Jack, Kate, Claire, Noah, Carter, Ava, Luca and Evan. Dorth is further survived by her siblings Thom (Marianne) Worron, Darlene Mattiacci, Kathy (Scott) Donn, Maureen (David) Sauve, Diana (Gary) Shakeshaft, Kelley (John) Segulic, Chris (Terri) Worron and Jason (Tanya) Worron – and many nieces and nephews. Dorth will be fondly remembered for her sense of family and the enjoyment she experienced when engaged in family celebrations. Dorothy will also be missed by her many colleagues and friends at the HWCDSB. Special thanks to the staff of Bob Kemp Hospice for their exceptional care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with Rosary at 3 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 63 Hwy. 20, Stoney Creek on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek.
