Dr. Ivan Mus

Loving father (Tata) of Andrea, Daniella and Stephanie. Cherished brother of Daniel (the late Barica), Janko (Snjezana), Nikola (Sonja), and Ruzica (the late Darko). Dear uncle to Nancy (Darren), Dan (Joanne), Anna, Goran (Iva), Miko, Ivan, Ivana, Davor, Noah, Ethan, Adina, Mila and Etta. He will be remembered by many family and friends in both Canada and Croatia.

Ivan served Hamilton as a dentist for more than 40 years. Anyone lucky enough to be his patient can attest to his gentle touch, habit of humming while he worked, profound commitment to serving the best interests of his patients, and his steadfast answer when asked how he was: “Perfect!”

He was happiest outdoors, chopping wood, planting trees and flowers, tackling DIY projects, and tending to his many rose bushes. From teeth to tractors, no repair was too big or small. He lived well, laughed often, and loved much. We admired him greatly, loved him fiercely, and will keep him in our hearts forever.

All are welcome to join the family for a Memorial Gathering at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2 – 5 pm. Donations in Ivan's memory may be made to Heart & Stroke or to CFU Lodge 954 Anne Eleyonich Scholarship Fund.
