Passed away at Deer Park Villa on November 28, 2015 in her 92nd year. Reunited in the loving arms of devoted husband of more than 60 years Gerald “Barney” (2004). Loving mother of Betty Ann Macdonald and her husband Bill, Ross Harrison and his wife Cathy. Cherished grandmother to Paul (Nichole), Jill (Ryan), Jason, Jeffery and Jacob. Dear great grandmother of Devon, Jordan and Maverick. Edith will forever live on in the hearts of her sister Erna and brother Bill, many nieces nephews extended family and friends. Predeceased by brother Rudy and sister Violet. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Deer Park Villa in Grimsby for treating our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as part of your own family. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 6-9pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11am. Interment in Eastlawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity close to your own heart would be greatly appreciated.
